them out when one is shopping for a new handgun. Fortunately,
there has never been a better time to consider a production class
1911. Prices have remained quite reasonable, while the number
of configurations offered has grown considerably.
Features which
once cost hundreds of dollars can now be found on many of the
entry-priced guns. This, coupled with the fact that there are no
less that a half-dozen manufacturers in this segment, means that it
is truly a buyer's market. Some of our favorite "business
guns" come from Colt, Kimber, and Springfield Armory.
